Gabe Herman is a tenured Associate Professor of Music Production & Technology at the Hartt School, The University of Hartford. With deep connections to the audio education community, Gabe has presented his research internationally, and has served as Chair of the the Audio Engineering Society’s Education Committee, overseeing global audio education events and programs for the Society.
As a consultant, Gabe has reviewed and evaluated audio curriculum for collegiate, Middle School, and High School programs. In addition, he has helped many institutions install immersive audio systems in classrooms and professional studios. He has chaired numerous conferences in audio education and is actively engaged with audio curricular innovation at all levels.
